We also looked at numbers fro 1-10 and make sets. Everyone enjoyed the story about Grandma's toybox and everyone could recognise and read the numbers in the book.

We had some new children start at Sunflower Club today and some children have their last day.
On your first day at Sunflower Club you make your very own sunflower that is dispalyed on our wall. On your last day you take your sunflower home and get to choose a book to keep. The children love choosing a new book then sharing it with their family at home.

We talked about how to help with reading at home and I modelled a reading session with a five year old from Room 19. She did a fantastic job reading in front of so many people!
